                     Phoenix Art Museum
                    Cummings Great Hall

                         $95 per person

ArtPick, Contemporary Forum’s annual November event, provides attendees with the opportunity to help choose Phoenix Art Museum’s next contemporary art acquisition. Sara Cochran, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, selects up to five works of art which will be on display during the event.  At an exciting party with a sumptuous buffet, hosted bar and a unique silent auction, attendees are given the opportunity to vote for their favorite work of art. The piece which receives the highest number of votes is then purchased by Contemporary Forum for the Museum with funds raised at the event.

ARTPICK is open to the public.

One of the extraordinary results of ArtPick is that many private donors have often purchased their favorite curatorial choices and then donated these pieces to the Museum.  This is possible because all of the curatorial choices are regarded as worthy of admission to the permanent collection.

While the following works were not the ArtPick winning selections, they subsequently were acquired a
s a direct result of ArtPick events.
